Meet your guide at the location of your choice in the Champagne region (Reims, Epernay...), he will take you to the heart of Champagne for this excursion in the vineyard. (Travel in a comfortable minivan. Recommended pick-up time: 10.00 am)
Start the day with a drive through the Champagne vineyard.
Enjoy a moment in the vineyards, with breathtaking views on the UNESCO world’s heritage vines of Champagne and acquire knowledge of the particularities of our “terroir”. You will then discover the village of Hautvillers, birthplace of Champagne. Get to enter the church where the famous monk Dom Pérignon is buried. Drive through one of the most famous streets in the world, the Champagne Avenue in Epernay.
Visit an authentic family-run winery and learn more about the process of making Champagne.
In the afternoon, discover the beauty of the small growers and visit an authentic family-run winery. We select the best Champagne growers so you can discover great values.
Lunch is not included. A nice option is a casual and authentic lunch at a typical Champagne House (Le Clos Corbier). If weather allows, the lunch will be served outside. It will not take too long and you will have a great time. £43 per adult (instead of £72 if taken separately from the tour) and £21 per child.
