What Is A Masterclass?
A Masterclass is an immersive online experience that offers access to genius by allowing anyone to take online classes with some of the world's best in their fields. Our instructors include Health Gurus, Musicians, Motivational Speakers, Personal Trainers, Culinary Experts, Chefs, Artists, Sommeliers and much more.
How Do The Masterclasses Work?
This is an immersive online experience. The instructor designs the curriculum for each masterclass. Each class may include extensive pre-recorded video content, a class workbook, interactive assignments, and community activities. The videos are viewable at any time, and they can be paused, fast-forwarded, and re-watched as many times as you'd like. In addition, many students utilise the class discussions below each video to share their thoughts, upload their performances, and provide feedback on others' work.
How Long Are The Masterclasses?
Each course consists of 1-5+ hours of video content split into individual lesson videos you can watch and re-watch anytime. In addition to the lesson videos, each course has a downloadable PDF workbook that you can use to supplement the videos and a student group that you can use to exchange feedback and discuss the lessons.
You can take the class at your own pace, so the number of weeks to complete the course will vary.
How Long Is Each Video?
Our classes range anywhere from 10-90 mins in length and each class is made up of several lessons.
Do I Have To Complete The Masterclass Course Within A Specific Time Frame?
Each Masterclass has a suggested timeline, but you can complete the class at your own pace. You have unlimited access to every class that you have purchased individually.
For classes you enrolled in with your membership, you can opt out as and when, similarly to the direct customer terms.
Am I Able To Interact With My Instructor?
Some instructors may provide feedback to select students on student questions or work. We may also partner with instructors from time to time to host special live Q&A sessions and opportunities for student participation. We cannot guarantee instructor-student interaction but will inform students if and as these opportunities become available.
Which Topics Are Covered In The Class?
Once the class is publicly launched, the syllabus will be available on the instructor's homepage. Scroll down to the 'Lesson Plan' to see a description of each lesson in the class.
What Type Of Device / Browser Do I Need For The Masterclasses?
You can view classes on any internet-enabled device, on any modern browser.
Is There Homework?
There are suggested exercises to practice the skills being taught, and it is advised that you take all extracted knowledge and use it for future planning, strategising and application - but no assignments are required.
What Happens After I Finish The Class?
You can review the course materials at any time. You can discuss any other classes you’d like to see featured and what kinds of things you would like to see more or less of. You can also interact with the community of other customers and members to encourage each other to practice your craft.
Where Can I Take The Classes/Courses From?
You can take courses anywhere in the world with an internet connection.
Can I Download The Videos?
No, the videos are not downloadable - but they are available in your account at any time, ready for viewing (and re-watching) at any time.
