In 1946 Christian Dior opened his own couture house. All of Christian Dior's passions - pleasure, beauty, architecture and colour, can all be seen in his first collection which revolutionised the fashion world. It was a year later, when a friend, Serge Heftler-Louishe, triggered another change in Christian Dior's life, when he suggested he should open a fragrance company selling Dior perfume and fragrances. Its first creation, Miss Dior, caused yet another revolution. Christian Dior Parfums is now part of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy.
